Welcome! Welcome! to my Blog. My Name is Mukiri Meeme owner of Millennial spending.
I grew up being taught that you earn whatever you work for and whenever you wanted something then you had to work for It and that has always been my mentality. I remember growing up and during the holiday season we would always want new clothes for the Holiday and my dad would give us whatever he thought was enough to buy the clothes and not how much you wanted. His saying to us was always “If you want to get something that costs more that what I gave you then You have to work hard and get the money to top up what I give you”.
So when I grew up I worked hard and bought everything I want just because I worked hard for my money so you can spend it however I wanted and Boy was I wrong!!!!

HOW IT ALL STARTED
As you start having kids you realize how much more bills you have and as a Single mom my spending was getting out of control and my Financial freedom goal kept on moving further and further away. One day I decided that I wanted to get back control of my Financial goals and I wasn’t planning to deny myself some of the things I love to do or be extremely frugal in order to achieve my financial goals but live a reasonable conformable life while forcing on my financial goals.
So that being said I decided to document my financial progress as I work through my finances to achieve financial independence. Help my readers improve their financial situation and walk with me as I take this journey to financial independence.
